Remembering when ACT members helped make history — playing a vital role in staging what IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch famously called “the best Olympic Games ever.”
From the iconic blue jacket — where “the buck stopped” — to the green jackets, technical officials, and tireless sports volunteers in blue uniforms who brought the action to life, it was a true team effort. Big smiles, mountain-moving determination, and unforgettable moments defined their contribution.
Dr John Azoury from the medical team is missing from the photo — if you notice anyone else not pictured, please let us know.
Many of these ACT legends from 2000 are still driving our sport forward today — living proof of the enduring Olympic spirit.
Let’s carry that legacy into the future. Go Brisbane 2032! We’ve done it before — and we’ll do it again — delivering an Olympics the world will admire.
