The younger judoka definitely electrified the Veolia Arena as the U11, U13, U15 and Senior Kyu divisions got underway. The loud support of fellow family, friends and competitors from the grandstand brought heat and energy throughout.
The three mats were heated all morning as the flurry of throws were displayed on the tatami, including a mix of feet and hip techniques. Popular throws included osoto gari, seoi otoshi, uchi mata and harai goshi.
With that, our action-packed weekend came to an end. As always, this competition would not be possible without the technical officials, referees and others that make this event possible!
