Welcome back to our competitors in Goulburn for the 2026 Canberra International!
The judoka were met with a sudden onset of colder weather as the kata and veterans competitions went underway.
There were 8 pairs demonstrating 5 different katas, displaying all the different forms in elegance and refined technique.
The veteran competition was fierce with plenty of sacrifice techniques.
The evening ended with a referee seminar about the latest 2026 rule changes.
Good luck to our cadet, junior and senior judoka competing today in Shiai! Looking forward to seeing those ippons!
