Bell brothers Lewis and Jake and Olympia Club team mate Adrian Georgiadis, are no strangers to Judo competitions and amongst them have a swag of judo medals won at Nationals, International Opens and ACT State Titles.
During the COVID-19 shutdown, the three Olympia Club members have diligently prepared for their grade promotions. Stephanos Georgiadis Head Coach and former Australian and Greek National Champion and European judo competition medallist, was complimentary about his prodigies’ grade promotions.
Stephanos stated ‘Lewis Bell and Adrian Georgiadis were promoted to senior blue belt and Jake Bell was awarded a junior brown belt’. Stephanos, went on to say that ‘reaching these levels in Judo belts requires a lot of technical skills and dedication, especially when their preparation was in a COVID-19 restricted environment. The 3 boys worked tirelessly since March and exhibited technical knowledge and excellence skills during their recent exam’.
