The ACT conducted a Dan grading over the weekend.
Penny Stein and Loven David both from the Olympia Judo Club were awarded their Sho Dans (1st Dan).
Rasika (Ras) Ranthilaka from the Mackillop Judo Club and Craig Johnson from the Olympia Judo Club were successful in obtaining their Ni Dans (2nd Dan).
All applicants trained hard for their gradings and the excitement showed on their faces when the results from the panel were given. Penny has been preparing for this grading for the past 8 months and was full of emotion of getting her Sho Dan.
ACT President Luis Val mentioned that he was pleased to see ACT building its technical skills which enables better coaching within Clubs.
